What did you like best about your experience?

I loved the variety of classes and lectures. Instructors and staff were amazing. The food was quite good and healthful. Landscaping was spectacular. Administration and other staff were extraordinarily helpful and kind.

    Yes

Jill was an amazing resource. She helped me find a room that met my needs when none appeared available. She also gave me great suggestions and guidance on things like travel time, tipping, when to book appointments, meeting points etc. Most helpful was her suggestion I arrive in San Diego a day ahead which enabled me to get a full day of activities on my 1st day at the Ranch. Jill also helped me in an emergency. I forgot my passport. Jill was immediately responsive, contacted the Ranch and got back to me promptly on next steps so I didn't miss a minute of my trip.

    Yes

Is there anything we can do to improve our service?

    Not a thing!

Solo dining at dinner at the Ranch was awkward. It may have been a coincidence that I traveled the same week as several very large returning groups. I was seated with partial tables which often had been having their entrees when I arrived to began my 1st course. They were long-time friends and fully engaged in their own conversation, so it was uncomfortable to try to join in the dialogue and be at very different stages of the meal. The staff wasn't overly accommodating of a solo traveler who preferred to eat alone and read on occasion. I'd suggest they begin a table designated for solo travelers as well as offer the opportunity read at dinner alone or seated with others upstairs.
