    DAY 1: Benvenuti a Roma!
    Meet your driver for a private transfer to your hotel. Check in and enjoy the city at your leisure.

    DAY 2: Countryside Towns Assisi and Siena
    In the morning, depart for Assisi, a tiny town surrounded by walls from the Middle Ages. Visit the basilica of St. Francis to see masterpieces by Giotto and Cimabue. Board the bus for Siena, a medieval town known for the Palio horse race around Piazza del Campo. Arrive at your Florence hotel in time for dinner. Meals included: breakfast/ dinner

    DAY 3: A Day in Florence with a Pisa Option
    Explore the “Cradle of Renaissance,” including the Duomo, its magnificent dome, belltower, and bronze-doored baptistery. Check out Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, and the basilica of Santa Croce before enjoying lunch in a typical Tuscan restaurant. Spend the afternoon strolling the cobblestone streets of Florence on your own or opt for a short trip to Pisa, home of the Leaning Tower. Meals included: breakfast/ lunch

    DAY 4: Small Cities, Bologna and Padua
    Wander through Bologna’s 38 kilometers of elegant porticos from Piazza Malpighi to Piazza del Nettuno and Piazza Maggiore, where you will find the Neptune fountain, King Renzo’s Palace, Podestà Palace, and the basilica of San Petronio. In the afternoon, continue to Padua, home of the Sant’Antonio basilica. Meals included: breakfast/ dinner

    DAY 5: The Best of Venice
    Hit the water after breakfast aboard a private water bus. Visit St. Mark’s Square, the splendid cathedral (interior), and the Doge’s Palace, a symbol of Venice’s glory and authority. Nearby, you will see the legendary Bridge of Sighs. Spend the afternoon roaming Venice’s canals at your leisure. Meals included: breakfast

    DAY 6: The Heart of Tuscan
    Depart for Tuscany, known for its romantic churches, castles, and wine. Proceed to Val di Chiana with a stop in Montepulciano, a medieval town known for its “Nobile” wine and annual jazz festival. Enjoy an included lunch at a local restaurant. Spend the afternoon independently exploring Montepulciano before continuing to Rome. Meals included: breakfast/ lunch

    DAY 7: Highlights of Rome
    Tour the Vatican with our exclusive “Skip the Line” access! After visiting the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel, pass through a private entrance into St. Peter’s Basilica, the biggest church in the world. Enjoy free time for lunch and then depart on a panoramic tour of Rome, including the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and the Colosseum. Meals included: breakfast

    DAY 8: Naples and Pompeii
    Travel along the “highway of the sun,” glimpsing a picturesque view of the abbey of Montecassino. Enjoy a walking tour of Naples, seeing sights such as the Mergellina neighborhood, Castel dell’Ovo, Plebiscito Square, and the royal palace. Have lunch with traditional Neapolitan Pizza before visiting the excavations of Pompeii, destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Continue to your hotel in Sorrento. Meals included: breakfast/ lunch/ dinner

    DAY 9: Splendid Sorrento
    Sorrento is a charming town filled with narrow lanes and beautiful ceramics shops. Spend the day exploring on your own. Be sure to sample some local limoncello, and if the weather is nice, head down to the beach! Meals included: breakfast/ dinner

    DAY 10: Island Elegance in Capri
    Board a boat for the island of Capri. Depending on sea conditions, you will enter the famous Blue Grotto in a small rowboat to bask in the magical blue hue reflected in the water. After, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and then roam the island at your own pace. That afternoon, check in to your new hotel. Meals included: breakfast/lunch/dinner

    DAY 11: Capri and Rome
    Spend a leisurely morning enjoying breakfast and then exploring more of Capri. In the afternoon, depart back to the mainland, arriving in Rome for your final overnight in Italy.

    Enjoy one final breakfast before meeting our driver for a private transfer to the Rome airport.
